Does the AT-04 offer multiple chorus modes or stereo output?
No. The AT-04 is a straightforward mono analog chorus pedal with one core chorus character and three adjustable controls. It does not provide multiple algorithms, preset storage or stereo outputs.
Is the AT-04 suitable for bass or other instruments?
The AT-04 is primarily designed for electric guitar. It may work with bass or other instruments, but the frequency response and perceived low-end may vary by pickups, amplifier and settings. Test it with your own setup for best results.
What do the LEVEL, DEPTH and RATE controls do?
LEVEL adjusts the effect output, DEPTH controls the amount of chorus movement, and RATE changes the modulation speed. For a balanced starting point, set LEVEL near noon and begin with moderate DEPTH and a slower RATE.
Why does the chorus sound too subtle or too intense?
The effect strength depends mainly on DEPTH and RATE. Increase DEPTH gradually for a more noticeable chorus. High DEPTH and fast RATE settings can create a stronger, more pronounced wobble that may not suit every playing style.
Do these pedals require a power supply?
Yes. All AT Series pedals require a standard 9V DC center-negative power adapter (not included). Using a regulated, low-noise power supply is recommended for the best performance and to help minimize unwanted noise.

WARM ANALOG CHORUS: The AT-04 adds an old-school, slightly darker modulation that gives clean chords, arpeggios and lead lines more width and motion without making every note sound heavily processed. It suits pop, blues, indie, classic rock, ambient layers and players buying a first chorus. Its character is generally subtle to moderate rather than dramatically whirly; it does not provide multiple algorithms, programmable presets or an extreme rotary-style effect.
LEVEL, DEPTH & RATE: LEVEL sets the effect output, DEPTH controls how far the modulation moves, and RATE adjusts speed from slow shimmer to a faster pulse. For a clean chorus, begin with the instrument volume and LEVEL around noon, then raise DEPTH gradually. Hot pickups, active electronics or LEVEL and DEPTH near maximum can overload the circuit and create unwanted static distortion; if that happens, lower the guitar output or pedal LEVEL before reducing the musical effect you want.
PEDAL ORDER MATTERS: Place the AT-04 after overdrive or distortion for a clearer, more pronounced modulation, or before drive for a softer, more blended texture; results depend on the pedals and amplifier around it. If the tone becomes noisier or changes more than expected, test the chorus by itself, then move it before or after the problem pedal. This flexibility suits home boards, recording chains and compact live rigs, but neighboring high-gain pedals and shared power can affect the final sound.
MINI METAL PEDAL FOR SET-AND-FORGET BOARDS: The compact enclosure saves space and travels easily to lessons, rehearsals, home sessions and small gigs. True bypass passes the direct signal when the effect is off, and the status LED shows when chorus is engaged. The tradeoff for the small footprint is two small secondary knobs and a traditional mechanical footswitch that produces a physical click; leave room between pedals and dial LEVEL and DEPTH before performing if you need quick changes on a dark stage.
REGULATED 9V POWER & TROUBLESHOOTING — PREVENT AVOIDABLE HUM: Use a regulated 9V DC, center-negative pedal supply; the adapter is not included and there is no battery compartment. An isolated output is recommended when sharing a board. If you hear hum, feedback or only noise, first test the AT-04 alone with known-good cables and a compatible supply, keeping LEVEL and DEPTH below maximum.
