Q1: What power supply does the AT-06 require?
The AT-06 requires a regulated 9V DC center-negative power supply rated for at least 120mA. The adapter is not included, and the pedal does not support battery power. Always verify the voltage and polarity before use.
Q2: Why will the pedal not power on?
Test it with a known-good regulated 9V center-negative adapter and connect the pedal directly without other pedals. The drum machine can operate without a guitar connected. If the LED remains off or the unit stops working after brief use, contact the seller for replacement.
Q3: Can I create or edit my own drum patterns?
No. The AT-06 includes 48 fixed drum grooves across six styles. You can adjust the groove, tempo, level, EQ and Fill function, but individual drum parts, kits, time signatures and song arrangements cannot be edited or saved.
Q4: Why do some grooves sound repetitive or unsuitable for my music?
The included patterns are preset interpretations of Pop, Rock, Funk, Blues, Metal and Jazz. Musical preference varies, and some specialized Metal or Jazz grooves may not suit every player. Audition all eight patterns in each style and note your favorites.
Q5: How do I stop the rhythm when Fill mode is active?
When Fill is Off and the indicator is red, the footswitch starts or stops the rhythm. When Fill is On and the indicator is blue, the footswitch triggers a drum fill. To stop playback, switch Fill Off first, then press the footswitch.
Q6: How do I adjust the tempo and EQ?
Use the SPEED knob for approximate tempo adjustment or use Tap Tempo to match the rhythm by ear. The pedal does not display an exact BPM. To adjust EQ, hold the small LED/FILL button while turning the SPEED/EQ control.
Q7: Why do the drums sound distorted, weak or noisy through my amplifier?
Drive pedals and amp distortion can also process the drum signal. Place the AT-06 in an effects loop, use a clean channel, or connect it to an AUX input, mixer, PA or FRFR speaker. If chirping occurs, test another amp and a separate regulated power supply.
Q8: Is the AT-06 suitable for live performances?
Best for practice, songwriting, lessons, rehearsals, busking, small solo gigs. For live use, learn Fill/stop sequence and use clean/full-range system. No programmable sections or BPM display.

The 40-240 BPM range covers slow practice through faster rock and metal work. One important control detail: the footswitch changes behavior with the selected function; while Fill mode is active, each press triggers a fill rather than stopping playback. Return to the normal start/stop function when you are ready to end the groove.
SAMPLED DRUM SOUND WITH LEVEL & EQ CONTROL: Set the drum level against your instrument, then use the secondary EQ function to reduce low-end buildup or add high-frequency presence when playing through a guitar amp, bass amp, or FRFR speaker. Speed and EQ share the same control, so hold the LED/function button to access EQ and set it before playing. This is a practical tonal adjustment for the drum track, not an independent multi-band mixer, and your amp or speaker still has a major effect on the final sound.
